Finger is a dialogue between architecture and the hilly landscape of Piedmont. It is 3,000 square meters used as offices and exhibition spaces overlooking Turin and the Basilica of Superga.
The intervention is part of the water basin designed to collect water from the flooding of the Rio Freidano, and provides for the redevelopment of the area, presenting a new landscape plan. The project, which opens like a fan on the landscape, is characterized by three buildings that slide on the hilly terrain. The partially suspended buildings are supported by pillars resting on the reservoir. To emphasize the strong link with the surrounding landscape, one of the three volumes is in axis with the Basilica of Superga, offering a special view.
